    The injury to Marshall just proves what a travesty the NCAA tournament is. Kentucky and Syracuse should be playing in the championship game and NC and Mizzou should be meeting up in a battle for third. All of this could have been avoided, like Missouri getting upset by a 3rd tier team, if the NCAA would do the right thing and get rid of the Tournament.

    Well, they wouldn't be able to pay for all those other sports and championships for the multitude of student athletes that are going pro in something else, without the Basketball Tournament.

    The Tournament is what funds the NCAA.

    In all seriousness, they should recognize a regular season champion in addition to the tournament champion. No one would care because the tournament is all that matters, but it would be a step in the right direction.
