    Maybe we give Clausen a lot of preseason action to see if we can generate some trade value?

    It seems like things started going down hill when we traded to get the second round pick to get Otah. We needed a RT and Otah was a good one before he got hurt but there was no reason to draft Stewart. We had DW and he was ready to break out. One feature back and a couple of guys to spell him is enough. You certainly do not need to put two first round picks into running backs. Matt Forte went in the second round that year so we could have stayed where we were and added him if we really wanted a second running back.

    Ever since that trade we have been playing catch up and reaching or making bad trades. I also think that as Fox's influence become less and less the decisions got worse and worse.

    Make me GM and I'll not only get the Panthers on the right track but have entertaining, Rumsfeld-type press conferences. I'll ask the Observer to put Gantt back on the beat just to make him cry like a bitch at every media event.

    The Fox influence thing has always been murky for me. I thought he was behind the E Brown nonsense, hated that. Mix JR, Hurney and Fox, you get some misguided shit, and I wish there was a way to know who was behind what.

    There is no way to know for sure who was responsible for what happened but it is almost certain that Fox had less control the last couple of years he was here than he did early on. Except for drafting Cam I can't point to much that has gone right for us since the 2008 regular season ended.

    Moore would probably still be here and the Skins just beat us to the RG3 sweepstakes.

    Darius and Coples/Brockers could be fun tho.

    Lol, dude you're an awful judge of character and you'd be awful on draft day. You would make Hurney look like Ron Wolf.

    Just to name 3 off the top of my head -

    1. You'd have taken John Henderson over Julius Peppers.
    2. You'd have taken Julio Jones over Green.
    3. You'd have taken anyone over Cam Newton.

    Oh, and you're pimping a G this year at 9.

    Yeah. It would be entertaining in a train wreck way...for about a minute before you sunk this franchise into the dirt.
