If not a QB #1, what do we do for a QB?

Im thinking DT at 9 would be Coples or Brockers. Both have ability to play inside and out. If the NFL is true to form its very NYG like.

I could see them reaching back up for Poe if he falls where he should have before the hype. But isnt that what Fua and Edwards were all about.

They just extented Hang 3 years so he's obviously the plan for RG, with the youngsters on IR behind.

But in this O I can see the benefits of a DeCastro, he could be very high impact to our running game, just too many holes on D right now not to be investing a 1st rounder there be it DT,CR,LB trading down a bit to double up.

 

Remember that they cut Wharton.

Normally I'd prefer to go defense as well, but if Claiborne or Coples doesn't fall (and I don't expect them to) then I'd rather choose DeCastro than reach on someone I don't feel comfortable with.

Yeah, i saw that, I also saw the biggest FA they brought in so far was a LG replacement for him, signed or not, it appears they intend to go the FA route.

DeCastro played RG, not that he couldnt switch sides but Marty isnt as slick as some people seem to think, the tea leaves are there, extending Hang and looking to FA to fill the LG spot.

Id be shocked at this point if we dont select a D guy in the first round.
