If he wants the best chance to win a ring it's San Fran assuming they'll go after him and he can accept the money they can offer. That and what team is going to change their offensive philosophy to allow him all but total control. That rules out Washington IMO, manning has history with zona's coach I think . But I still think it's Miami. Reggie Wayne will follow him.

I had a feeling Jville would be the team, but they seem willing to torture themselves with Gabbert for a few more years.

Manning has said he wants to stay in the afc. I don't know what young team he'd fit better in between Miami , kansas city or Tennessee . There is no way in hell he goes to the jets imo. That franchise is a joke

I am sure he would like to beat Brady as much as possible.

if i were one of those 12 teams trying to hurry and acquire manning by next tuesday i sure as hell would want to know a couple of important things first, like:

1). will he still be able to throw and play like he was prior to the neck surgeries?

2). is that F'd with and fused together neck going to hold up when he starts taking hard shots again this summer?

have heard WAY too much tripe about where he might or might not play and haven't heard nearly enough about the specifics of whether he can or should still play.
Before he gets offered some 3 year 60 million (28 mil guaranteed) deal I would want to have those two questions discussed in-depth.

He's said no such thing. Marshall Faulk claimed that Peyton would stay in the AFC, but that doesn't mean he will. Rob Lowe said that Peyton was retiring.

Even if he does not intend to play in the NFC, I think he and or his agent are smart enough not to eliminate half the market place before the bidding starts.
