Maybe a team that nobody has mentioned, like Jacksonville. I don't think he would go to Washington. Shanny has too heavy of a hand there.

I hate the Cowboys but this would not surprise me at all.

I don't see hims going to the Cowboys or Redskins....he won't want to be in the same division as his brother....he would not want to be the reason his brother may or may not get into the playoffs.

I say #1 Dolphins with them bringing Reggie Wayne and maybe Jeff Saturday to help with the transition

#2 Arizona - Larry Fitzgetald factor

    #3 Long shot - Seattle

Eli has two rings and Peyton has one. I think there is a good chance Peyton might want to play in the same division as Eli.....

The Redskins do not make sense to me other than Snyder's ability to throw cash around. Peyton is not a WCO type QB and Shanny is not the easiest guy to work for.

    Sob fest going on now.

I still think he'll want to keep the possibility of a Manning vs Manning SB alive so AFC wins out in otherwise similar situations.

I think Peyton is unlikely to base his decision on how it affects him and Eli. They are both professionals and both have rings. Neither of them is going to have a black mark on his career if he loses to his brother's team a few times.

Peyton will likely go to the team that give the best chance for him to win while at the same time being willing to adapt their offense to his style of play.

Here is my take on a few possibilities that are being tossed around:

    1. Jets - not likely, they are a defensive minded team that plays outdoors in a cold weather area.
    2. Cards - intriguing to think of Fitz and Peyton on the same team. It seems like a long shot to me with the Cards investment in Kolb and the fact that they need more than Peyton to be a contender.
    3. Dolphins - strong contender, they play in warm weather most of the time, have a top WR and a decent supporting cast. I am not sure they realistically become contenders just by adding Peyton though.
    3. Redskins - not likely, Shanny is a control freak and runs a WCO.
    4. Cowboys - this makes the most sense to me. Jerry Jones would take the risk to chase a ring. They have some weapons on offense and defense. They play in a dome. They probably become a contender the minute Peyton signs the contract.
    5. Denver - not going to happen, outdoor stadium, cold weather, defensive minded team, Tebow....

Yeah I pegged Denver very early on and it was shot down, which I can understand too.

But I'd bet the house that Fox and probably Elway would love it, it would get them out from under the Tebow situation. Manning is probably the only guy who could. Though if Brees were to hit the market, he could be included.

Lol, I'll tell you what would be funny is Manning going to the Saints and Brees hitting the market.

Just saying, if all else is equal, he goes AFC. There may not be two equal situations that fit that scenario. We will see where he ends up.
