    Thoughts about him?

    If McClain sucks as bad y'all think he does, and Fua has the potential to be average, do we take Cox to play the role of the quick penetrating DT that McClain was supposed to be? Edwards is more the Fua type so even if he's back healthy we are still missing a guy that can penetrate and pressure from the DT spot. And his stock seems to be rising post combine.

    Not at 8/9, or even after one trade down. If they traded down twice into the 20s then maybe.

    Cox is a great player with a big time motor. Think of it this way, with Alabama and LSU in the conference, he won SEC Defensive lineman of the week 4 times. He blocked two FG in games which shows desire. He is also quick enough in a pinch to play DE. And he is only 21. Do I want him at 9? No but if we could fall back to 13-15 and get a 3rd rd pick, I'd be tickled.

    I wouldn't have a problem with someone saying that he's the best DT in this draft, I just think he's a late first round pick.

    So basically you don't like any DT with the 9th pick? What about Devin Still from Penn State? I've heard some buzz on him.

    no matter how hard you look at video and expert opinion there is just no defensive linemen that looks like a top 10 pick this year. No one figures to be dominant from day one and with one or two exceptions (gone before we pick) no potential dominant DL at all. Might be better off to address CB first and take DL in the 2nd.
