Bench reps, pretty significant advantage to Jenkins.

Isn't vertical supposed to be one of the most important measure of explosiveness? Brockers has the 6th worst at the combine among DLs that participated.

Actually for measuring explosiveness, teams really like to focus on the 10 yard split for the 40. No one cares if their DE or DT doesn't have great top speed, but you want a very good split at 10 to indicate a quick first step since that will actually translate to the field. I haven't seen exactly what Brockers' 10 yard split was, but I've seen reports saying that it ranked outside the top 10.

Taking Jenkins at 9 would be idiotic. If the team trades down twice then maybe.

First rounder on a small school defensive back... see Anderson, Rashard.

Transfered from Florida, the kids a talent but drugs are a major issue.

That was Andersons problem (drugs), not being from a small school.

Shame two of the best CR prospects have issues in that department, Dre and Janoris.

Just would rather see us use a top 10 pick on a guy whose gotten it done at a major program.

As crazy as a top 10 guard sounds, I think that is where I'd go with the pick (especially since salary structure for rooks has changed). Go get the elite guy at his position.

Would that be so bad, Steelers can draft some players now.

At the end of the day its about getting a player that makes an impact not where his value (assigned by draft nerds) on draft day was.

Lets not pretend that this Poe guy was a 7th rounder prior to the workout.

He sounds like a player the Steelers or Ravens would draft.

Ive got issues with our D's size, he certaintly helps in that department.

Reminds me a wee bit of Sapp
