If they had drafted the following players instead of the ones they did draft they would be golden by now:

    2004 Devin Harris
    2005 Andrew Bynum
    2006 Brandon Roy
    2007 Joakim Noah
    2008 Brook Lopez

You do that and keep Gerald Wallace and you have a contender.....

umm... contender for what? you think harris would still be with charlotte if they'd drafted him? that's a long time for one dude to play for the same losing team.

    brandon roy retired.

lopez, noah, and bynum are pretty unlikely to be able to play together. maybe you could get lopez on the floor with bynum or noah, but noah and bynum? it'd be a clusterfuck in the paint...

unless charlotte can get a ton of picks in the subsequent drafts, i don't think they can really build via draft. it takes too long for players to develop and then they leave before you get enough of them.

if jordan had deep pockets, he could eat long term bad contracts in order to score solid young players. that one nice thing about being under the cap -- you become the third team in deals in order to facilitate lopsided trades. for your trouble, you might get something nice, but they only use you for your ability to take on more salary than you give up.

or you try to land good role players on the cheap and slowly build up a solid nucleus over time. make good trades for undervalued players and keep cap flexibility for potential free agents.

Another fantastic performance by the Bobcats. Shooting a burning 32% for the game, they barely lost to the Bulls by 31 points. The suckage continues.

We knew they would be bad, but I don`t think many expected this kind of play.:SCF-HL:

Just further proof Jordan has no clue about being an owner. Give us anything as a fan to be excited about.

The Bobcats outscore the Clippers by 7 in the 4th quarter and only lose by 25. They actually scored more in the 4th quarter than they did in the 3rd and 1st quarters combined.

Not sure I see much outside of Kemba and Bismack(potential).

i like kemba. not really seeing bismack's potential, honestly. for how high he was drafted, he needs to be a lot better than a 10+10 big man. not that there were a ton of stars available in that draft...
