To my dismay, it hasn't been important for a while.

it always cycles around. But, it's amazing how little talent the Pats use at RB and get by.

New England's offense doesn't require it.

New York has two of the best rushers in the league who share carries.

Eli and Brady top 5 Qbs.

Gore and Rice made Smith and Flaco better QBs. Smith and Flaco are no where near the top 5 Qbs.

The run can still get you to the big game, yesterdays games both went the wrong way. The superbowl should be Ravens and 49ers.

The two best rushers in the NFL can't break 4.0 yds/carry?

Since it's made so easy to throw the ball now, I just think teams with elite/semi-elite QB's don't prioritize it very much anymore (unless you also have an elite RB)

and defense wins championships... and as good as Manning has been, I don't see the Giants beating the Pats and the 31st ranked defense

The Giants beat Green Bay and San Fran at home. I think San Fran and their defense had a better chance of rocking Brady, but the Giants can beat New England and I believe they will.

Yeah, that's the odd thing about the Patriots. They got into the SB, so you can't doubt that, but didn't they beat ONE TEAM with a winning record this year?

I'd be shocked to see them beat the Giants.
