    I unfortunately believe this to be true. He was supposed to be a great "salary cap guru". That's why he got promoted to GM. To me, he just looks like a clown that overpays injured players.

    Hurney could screw up the Special Olympics. Sadly, he is just a symptom. The disease is the owner. Hurney goes only after Jerry's demon heart stops...

    The Packers' John Dorsey or the Raven's Eric DeCosta would be my first two choices...

    On the surface, this appears to be it, sadly. Hurney didn't write those deals in a vacuum. JR had to sign off. I can only hope he voiced concern at the time, and gave Hurney the rope that will ultimately hang him.

    DeCosta would be good but isn't going anywhere. Isn't even interviewing. Don't know much about Dorsey.
