I am pretty fucking excited, too. Pretty neat seeing the NY media getting mouth-raped by Tom Coughlin's turgid cock. Also diggin' the SFO story. Baltimore knows how to beat the Pats, in Foxboro.

Watching some of these games--gives me a better appreciation for how good Carolina was in 2011, given the circumstances. Rookie QB. No OTA's. Injuries on defense. Sean McDermott. Still, hung 400 yards on Houston on the road, finished 4-2 down the stretch. Had Green Bay, New Orleans, Atlanta by the fucking balls.

We're close. At least, I see it that way. Some of you fucking ingrates will argue that we're going backwards.

 

I'm really thinking this is going to be NY vs. Baltimore. Just a feeling, but who knows. Either way, I'm stoked, and FUCK New Orleans and Atlanta for trying.

I'm beginning to have hope for us. I can be way too negative and reactionary, I know. I'm really worried about the defense. But dammit, we played with a lot of good teams to the end. In hindsight, I'm glad N'awlins waxed us late, and got beat. Let's us know we have a long way to go, but that we can get there.

The positives?

1. Cam fucking "I throw off my back foot and can't go through my progressions, and I'm not the winner and general awesomeness that Tebow is" Newton. Because he's Superman sometimes, and can keep us in games. He's a player that through sheer talent alone, can win games, or keep us in a few that we have no business being in.

2. Year 2. Full offseason and minicamps. Another year in the defense. No more cover 2 coach in a secondary that doesn't play it. (though I liked Meeks)

3. We have three fucking players that got over 700 yards rushing. And Otah may be back again. And Davis may be back again....ok, so nevermind to the last two.

4. Beason. And Rivera wants fast coverage backers. And I believe him when he says he will try to get them. I don't think it's a raindance that Foxy was so good at. I think Rivera will try and go get them.

5. Neblett. He helped our DL tremendously, and I don't think two shits of our inconsistent 3rd rounders, and now McClain doesn't have to be a starter. He can come in on passing downs, since he's a fucking freelancer.

6. The fact that JDR will probably not coach this season, and therefor, will not be the DC for the Falcons...I hope.


No, fuck it. It's a fresh start, and I'm a fucking mark. I'm game. I'm all excited again, and ready to have my heart broken and feel the fresh pain seethe through every pore of my body! GO FUCKING PANTHERS!!!!!!
