we had a good number of TE screens, too. He's thrown 58 passes in the middle of the field behind the LOS, 22 left, 14 right, which could've been WR screens or back dumpoffs.

NFL Network's Albert Breer has heard "continually" that Bengals OC Jay Gruden is the favorite to be the Jaguars' next head coach.
Jacksonville has targeted almost strictly offensive coordinators in its coaching search. Jon's younger brother, Jay Gruden has earned a reputation for tutoring young quarterbacks via his work with Andy Dalton. Gruden cannot interview for the Jaguars' gig until after Saturday's game against Houston, at soonest, but it sounds like the sides have already been in conversations. Gruden would implement a "horizontal" West Coast offense after Blaine Gabbert played his first year in Dirk Koetter's (theoretically) vertical-based scheme.

When was the last time an owner fired a coach after year one with the intention of salvaging a coveted assistant? Perhaps, never?

couple of local media suggesting they aren't aware of that.
So far it seems that they are still interviewing Mularkey, suggest they want to interview McCoy. I don't think, even if there is a 2nd, that it means the same thing.

CHrist. Pft reporting that Jay Gruden staying put. Just another thing that makes it more possible CHud leaves.

If Chud goes off to be a HC and JDR comes to ATL to DC? That's gonna be the king of shit. I know some here hate JDR and shit, and think he shines McDermott's shoes and all, but I can't see that working out for us at all.
