I'd fire Rivera to keep Chudzinski.

They should just to reward his performance this season, but I don't think it will matter in terms of him going elsewhere. If he gets offered a head coaching job then he'll take it, and he should. Not many guys ever get that opportunity.

He's designed a brilliant offense, and more importantly, he's been the glue between Shula/Newton and the rest of the offensive staff. It's a big loss if he leaves.

I don't see Shula as coordinator material. I see Turner getting the promotion if this goes down this year.

And, I do think Tampa will fire that sociopath Morris and make Chud one of those low-ball first-timers offers. And, then, we'll see if he wants to leap.

I don't agree that it's "now or never" for a guy like Chud. If the right opportunity comes along, and I do think Tampa would be a decent fit for him, then I'd hit it.

Hard to imagine he wouldn't want to go back to Miami.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.

I would have fired them both to have kept Gil Haskell. :flush:

A lot of the people who wanted to fire Fox for JDR after one season, probably have had a lot of other 'great' ideas too, that we are lucky the team didn't do.

As noted, people loved JDR because he jumped up and down, not because he was a phenomenal coordinator. Chudzinski has been legitimately phenomenal, so I don't think it's unreasonable for someone to say they'd prefer to keep him over Rivera. Of course it doesn't matter since Richardson would never do that.

I doubt Chud would do that to Rivera either.

Um, no, JDR was a pretty goddamn good DC. That thing where he took us to 2nd overall or 1st or some shit wasn't made up. We came from worst.

Had nothing to do with "jumping up and down". Jesus. Give the guy some fucking credit for being good at what he did.
