Big surprise, face palm...Collin you're a douche bag idiot that refers to everyone else as "fans", like you lace up on Sunday's. What a fucking idiot. You're probably, mid 30's, over-weight, and still live at home with your parents. You do realize these players have a life outside of football, right? You know, a wife, kids, and other interested that involve moving their head. If you don't think a doctor telling you that taking more hits can really limit you as a PERSON has an affect on a player you're dumber than I thought. A few years back they had a half-time special on Jerome Bettis. It showed a glimps into the life of a former NFL player. Basically it was a man in his late 30s that moved like a 70 year old man. Peyton is too smart, to not be affected by his injuries. It's kind of amusing seeing someone so arrogant be wrong so often, but perhaps you should take your head out of your ass and start living in the real world.

I never said it would end his career. I just said I don't think he'll ever be 'right' again. Meaning, I don't think he will ever get to the same level he was at. Might he come back and be good? Sure, just not 'right', like what we and he's been accustomed to.

I'll add that I like and respect manning as one of the greatest QB's, especially mentally, who's played the game. I hope he does overcome this to continue adding to his illustrious career.

His injury required neck fusion !
My wife has had 2 neck fusions
Peyton is an NFL QB taking major hits

    My wife's first surgery,with a neurosurgeon lasted 2 years
the screws broke on one side
    She does housework

Will it end his career , Peyton will play
Can it ends his career YES

No one really knows how bad his injury is but guys like him do not change teams unless they are washed up or have a serious injury concern. That is one part of why it will be exciting if he leaves the Colts. Someone will be rolling the dice big time. It could get you a superbowl or it could crash and burn in Favre like fashion.

I am glad we have Cam and won't be playing. I had not thought about him going to Dallas but Jerry Jones, despite being a douchebag, has a big enough set of balls to do something like that.

No one thought micro-fracture surgery was a big deal either.

Someone tell me has there been neck fusion surgeries like this on players where they came back with no issues?

Sure there are some but still seems like a whale of a risk

It's possible you actually believe that I'm wrong often because you're clearly that out of touch with reality. In truth, you're the one whose posts are so worthless that no one ever wants to know what you think about anything, and you disrupt threads that could otherwise be worthwhile. Furthermore, the suggestion that minor neck surgeries will impact a career more than blowing an ACL is just the latest in your long line of absurd posts. This honestly isn't the place for you. You should go post at the Huddle.

And you're saying this based on absolutely nothing. Actual medical experts have said that there should be no long-term effect. So who should we listen to?

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6944302/indianapolis-colts-peyton-manning-more-surgery-neck

"This procedure is performed regularly throughout the country on persons from all walks of life, including professional football players. Two former Colts players had this same procedure last winter and have fully resumed their careers," the team said in the statement.

Will you people please stop annoying the shit out of me by saying things that have no basis whatsoever in reality? Peyton will be fine.

    the answer is 17

YA Tittle was the last and he had it done 34 times in his career, 12 in one season and once at halftime of a game.
