newton is an awesome athlete and fun to watch. .. I just wish that there was a better chance of him staying here. We all know he'll be gone at his earliest convenience

when LA gets a team -- and LA will get a team -- Newton will be their "franchise quarterback." note I said "franchise" quarterback and not "elite" quarterback.

    A cut above?

Tebow is a nice story, he's a good kid and all but there's no way anyone who's ever seen a football game would put him anywhere close to being in Cams league as a QB. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for tebow and he's a scrappy, rah rah type leader, but cam has a better arm, is more accurate and is two dimensional where Tim is not.

Sure, Cam has a lot to work on this off season, but Tim Tebow is about as close to him as Curtis Painter is to Peyton Manning. Ok, maybe not that extreme but it's not really close.

It was the only thing you talked about, and you provided it as the definition of what it means to be a "good quarterback." Again, I get why you're bullshitting because you got caught being completely hypocritical for bashing Tebow and then praising Skelton. This is what you do every time someone uses one of your quotes to bust you; you pretend that it means something else in magnus language than it does in English.

See, you can't even possibly believe this, but it's more of your dishonesty. I bust you about being dishonest and hypocritical all the time, not just about Tebow. You're the issue, magnus, not Tebow. When you post a bunch of bullshit, I call you on it.

Then stop posting. I gave the quote showing exactly what you said. You keep posting because you're incredibly defensive about being proven as the hypocrite you are. No one forced you to bash Tebow over his completion percentage or ignore Skelton's. You clearly have a problem with Tebow because of his religion based on your posts early in the thread, and I'm calling you on your hypocritical bullshit.

Wasn't, and by no means did I say "most important". Oh well. So you're willing to lie to cover all this but you aren't hypercritical of Tebow in the two threads you continue to keep alive about him.

I appreciate the shout-outs and all, but it would nice to get more Saints highlights and not have Tebow occupy every damn segment on NFL Network.

It's always bizarre to see you arguing with your own quotes about what you actually said, or I guess what you think you meant to say instead of what you actually did.

Speaking of those stats, Tebow's been sacked 27 times and Cam's been sacked 32. He's also lost 4 fumbles to Cam's 2. And he's only been starting 9 games to Cam's 14. Cam does have a lot more interceptions, but both sample sizes are still quite small.

ETA: better yet, sort by yards per attempt and see how they stack up. I ended up throwing the data into excel because there were a lot of backsups with just a handful of attempts obscuring things a bit, but looking at it that way is worthwhile. At 7.8 yards/att, Cam ranks 8th, right up there ahead of Vick, Cutler, & Stafford, just behind guys like Rivers, Romo, Big Ben, & Carson Palmer. Tebow is in a 4-way tie for 16th @ 6.7 yards/att, lower around guys like Sanchez, Flacco, Fitzpatrick, & Dalton. The biggest difference for Tebow IMHO is how run-heavy the Broncos are compared to the Panthers. We've been running more effectively lately, not sure how many more carries we're giving out, but Cam's been put in more position to throw picks than Tebow has, thats for sure.

For as much debate that has gone on regarding Tebow's defense, Dalton's the guy who has really benefited from his team's talents on that other side of the ball.
