    Maybe I don't understand exactly what "people' you are talking about. Most of the people I have talked to who are football fans mostly just dig what a competitor and tough player he is. If you mean that they do not care what his stats are then I agree with you. The man is as fiery and competitive as a human being is probably ever going to get. As a fan of the raw competitive nature of sports in general how could any true sports fanatic hate on the guy . .. Unless they have a team bias or a bias against Tebow for some personal reason (like his belief)? Despite his apparent flaws as an NFL QB he is proving to be a winner on this level too and that is the main thing that I love about this as a football fan. The NFL made it clear that he was not going to be allowed to evangelize when they nixed his Bible passage eye-blacks. Given the corporate machine that is the NFL and the liberal media I would never expect Tebow to be able to bring droves of folks to Jesus as a player. I would expect that an overachieving leader of men with an unstoppable rino sized heart to bring out droves of sheer sports fans and be really good for the NFL.

    given what I know of both men so far I'd rather have Tebow here. For one, he'd be more likely to stay here, and two, he is a TEAM guy . .. not a ME guy

    Switch QB's, and see what you get.

    Tebow + Panthers D = winless. WINLESS.
    Newton + Denver's D = 12-1

    You can be a fan boy of the guy all you want to because he's a nice wholesome white christian, but accept the reality that he is a gimmick qb.
    He'll be benched by next year.

    The video was inspiring. I'm glad to see Christianity hasn't lost it's leadership abilities for the upcoming second Holy War against Islam.

    The Carolina & Denver defenses are only 8.3 yards per game apart. Tebow haters keep acting like the Broncos have an above average defense when it's clearly below average. Denver keeps winning with Tebow because he's not turning the ball over.

    I like Tebow, but they're not keeping him beyond 2011 unless he wins a playoff game.

    Aren't the Panthers 4-0 whenever we commit no turnovers? That is solid football. I love Cam and believe he is far superior to Tebow, but I just wished he quit throwing those picks and we would have won a few more games, even with a shitty defense.
