"I'm just gonna have to get out that house" sure sounds like he's already thinking about leaving Carolina if the team isn't winning as many games as he expects them to. And remember that he's not saying this after multiple seasons of losing. He's saying it after three fourths of his rookie season.

I'd have to say if the Panthers don't improve and get a winning 'tude, players along with coaches and management showing they want to win and such, he'll want to leave when his contract is up- regardless of the money. And who could blame him? Especially if he progresses to be elite or close to it and the panthers as a team and organization do not and stay basically a losing or close to it- organization. I'm not sure he meant to throw his teammates under the bus, just the one's who have a losing mentality. And you have to admit, regardless of his words (which I wasn't fond of), there's a lot of complacency within the organization.

I'm not watching that again, but he did say lion on safari, didn't he? Lol.

edit: I see, from Collin's quote, that it wasn't exactly that. But someone should tell him that people go on safari to shoot lions.

I like the fact that he's not afraid to bust their balls. It's pretty much what we've been saying here for years, minus the retarded safari comment.

#1) I don't think the players, coaches, or front office "accept" losing.

#2) Even if you think some of your teammates need to be more focused, keep that shit private. Blabbing to ESPN just makes you look like an egotistical ass.

#3) Don't even bring up leaving a franchise when you're the first overall pick three-fourths of the way through your rookie season.

Nobody's paying me to be the face of anything, otherwise I'd moderate my behavior.

Losing was most certainly accepted last year. Everything about that team was set up for failure. There's never been a standard of excellence with this franchise. I do agree that he needs to choose his words a little better, but this is pretty much a non-story.

Talking about leaving the franchise three-fourths of the way through your rookie season is a non-story? Shitting on your teammates to ESPN is a non-story?
