    Even in a playoff scenario you'd have teams being left out with the same number of losses as teams who get in. There's no way to avoid subjective judgments unless the whole season is a de facto playoff where everyone plays everyone else. Having teams try to get one of the two spots is a major reason why elite teams schedule other elite teams. If you just need to get one of the top eight spots, you'd have little incentive to schedule anyone but cupcakes.

    Why argue with Collin...you will never convince him of a system that has never been tried and if they are the two best teams then they would end up in the championship game anyways.

    If the BCS playoff system sucks and everyone decides they hate it...then switch it back.

    because someone has to keep the blubbering buffoon on his toes and point out the errors of his piss poor opinions.

    Hell look who the only person on this whole board who agrees with him - DaveW the SEC fan. Dave loves the BCS because it pretty much boils down to the SEC champ against somebody else. Why buck a system that insures your conference always plays in the championship game.

    Your team is the best? Better than the Oregons, Boise States, Michigan or Ohio States of the world? Then prove it by beating them in a tournament - otherwise your "BCS" title is no better than all the AP poll champions before they started this BcS shit.

    Where the fuck did I say I love the BCS? The SEC sure has been lucky the BCS has voted them in the last 5 years. I dont like the BCS. I dont think 8 teams need to be in a playoff though. 4 is good.
