    Armanti was a great player at his level, and a wonderful young man. He's also one of the worst draft picks in NFL history. He had nothing to do with that, though.

    He's not even the worst 2nd round pick in Panthers history. Yeah, I know we took him in the 3rd but he cost us a 2nd.

    The fact that it costed us a 2nd & 3rd rd pick is what makes it our worst pick ever. Most people assumed he wouldn't even get drafted.

    Edit: I just remembered we gave up a 1st and 2nd for Everette Brown. EVERETTE BROWN.

    I can't decide which is worse.

    Gotta be Brown at this point, since he's not on our roster.

    What made Edwards particularly painful though, is that was the first overall 2nd we lost.

    REMEMBER: CAM NEWTON'S PICK, if Hurney had his way, WOULD HAVE GONE TO THE RAMS FOR JIMMY CLAUSEN'S ROSTER SPOT.

    I threw up in my mouth again.

    Except it didn't. They traded a 2011 2nd for a 2010 3rd. Their true cost was the 2011 2nd...which turned out to be even worse that originally thought. But I think you can look back at the history and find quite a few picks that turned out worse.

    Except they didn't. They traded the 2010 first for the #43 pick and also a 4th rounder in 2009 to take Everette Brown.

    They traded 2011's 2nd, and used 2010's 3rd to draft Edwards. That's two picks wasted on a player who probably wasn't going to be drafted. It's the team's worst pick ever. You don't move up to draft a 1-AA quarterback. It's flat fucking insane.
