I guess this is you pretending that nose and under tackles are interchangeable because you don't want to admit being wrong, just as you didn't admit to being wrong about the 4-3 supposedly being a better run defense than the 3-4. Some guys can and do play both excluding obvious passing situations, but it's not common. They're different positions, which you would realize if you were knowledgeable about football. It's like the difference between right and left end, or strongside and weakside linebacker.

The reality is that you rarely if ever commented on him until recently, while I've been praising him all along.

Hardly. I've posted multiple times about the defense being awful on third downs and wondering why that's the case. What I object to is when people pretend that the defense is awful all the time, since they aren't, or that the team would be 6-2 if not for the defense. For all the yardage that Cam has produced, the Panthers are pretty much league average in scoring.

Except that I don't lie at all. Sometimes I'm wrong, but I'm better than anyone here at admitting that when it happens. No one has been more forthright about their mistakes than I am. Hell, I don't even try to hide that I made an ass of myself by describing LaDainian Tomlinson as a 3rd round RB prospect in that draft because I questioned his ability to run between the tackles (TCU ran an unconventional offense at that time which featured a lot of sweeps). You're the one who has not only lied repeatedly about me, but also lied to cover up your own mistakes. You continue to embarrass yourself over the 3-4 thing because you can't just acknowledge that you didn't know about the 3-4 being a better run defense. It's not a crime to be ignorant of that, but continuing to pretend that you're right even after multiple people have corrected you multiple times is ridiculous.

We would have a much better record if not for the defense. You're an idiot if you believe otherwise. And we're pretty bad on all downs. Just in the last two games, have we improved much. And the Jacksonville game. But we've had multiple breakdowns on multiple downs. We've just been especially bad on third downs.
