    we have 3 good safeties - yes, shut the fuck up, Pugh is solid - unless we played Harris at weakside LB or nickel LB we don't have much use for him and outside of Meeks (who wasn't here when we traded for him, but was when he was traded out) there are no ties.

    Or, I guess we could play one safety up all the time and play the extra safety at corner, but honestly I'm not all that unhappy with our corners right now. The starters are really playing pretty fucking well.

    At any rate, the badass SS who would force almost a fumble a game and that could knock a pulling guard into a running back isn't there anymore. There's just a guy with a lot of talk that reminds you of him sometimes.

    Pugh is decent. Chris Harris on the other hand would be a downgrade.

    He was traded after talking shit about the youth movement. I doubt Hurney will bring him back.
