    I was wondering that as well. You would think he would be on board with this before Oakland would pull the trigger.

    If the Raiders gave up a 4th round pick for Palmer, that would have made sense. This will set them back for a long time.

    I don't think that Everette Brown and Armanti Edwards in separate deals are better than Carson Palmer in one, so no, this doesn't make Hurney look like a genius at all.

    I can see Hurney giving up 2 first rounders for Palmer. He is that big of an idiot.

    I have never bought the coordinator argument on him but he responded under Hue. He may be cursed.

    I keep thinking I hallucinated this trade.It's a good fit for Palmer, though.
    Hue is a Coryell guy, and Palmer can play out his last few years on the west coast... Too bad it broke his new team's back to get him.

    I dont remember the name of the fat DT the panthers gave up two 1st picks for from the skins about 12- 13 years ago... I could look it up but I'd rather not remember the name attached to that debacle. I thought that trade set the presedence that no team would ever trade 2 first picks again.
