    That's pretty far fetched. And I'd bet my bottom dollar Fox wasn't behind Clausen's drafting.

    I was wondering if the Panthers shouldn't be doing the same thing and flipping veterans for picks since this team isn't going to be good any time soon. The two reasons you wouldn't are that the cap is already so heavily committed that you can't really afford to wait around for improvement, and then more importantly, no one is giving up much for these guys. I don't see how a 5th/6th round pick does much for Denver.

    I don't, either, and for one of their best players. I understand they're going to be a run first team, and they have some receiving options...but to dump one of your best players on a struggling team for almost nothing?

    Well...whatever....

    Maybe. I'd rather have an experienced receiver to help Tebow's development, but maybe Fox & Elway want him to fail.
