I didn't say he wasn't. I just believe he's done a good job recently. His mistakes up to this point have outweighed his successes, but he's been doing a good job this season. We cut players that should've been cut, and we're going after players that may be able to help. At least it seems he's learning from his mistakes. Maybe Fox had a lot to do with some previous decisions, I don't know, but it seems to be a different type of GM-ing going on.

You're wrong. He gave $43 million to a 28 year old running back with injury issues, he gave $35 million to a linebacker coming off of two consecutive ACL tears, and he failed to do enough to address gaping holes at DT and CB. This thread is absurd, and the sooner you abandon it the less people will hold it against you.

We both know neither of those contracts will be paid in full, and we've been working out DTs almost every week. We brought in Butler at CB, and now we're down some LBs. So now we're looking into addressing that need. How much more can he do? I agree on the Davis contract, it was foolish, but I believe there are some injury clause in that contract.

Poon, the bottom's fallen out of this franchise. Our drafts have been suspect, our recent trade history has been beyond terrible, and we let a HOF lineman walk away with absolutely nothing in return. Nothing.

We almost used our Cam Newton pick on Jimmy Clausen. He pushed hard to do that, but was unsuccessful.

The GM of a failing franchise who is responsible for a long spate of awful personnel moves cannot be considered successful.

We have 3 playoff appearances in the last decade. We're working this year to having equal amount of 1 or 2 win seasons under him.

Hurney is a nice guy, and he means well. I like him. But he's been bad for the Carolina Panthers pro football franchise.

That;s actually true. While he doesn't come off as abrasive and unlikeable as Millen, his decisions are as costly. And our record is indicating it.

I'm kinda shocked that some of us are so complacent as fans, when we're one of the worst teams in the entire league for as long as we've been.
