I am still very happy with him and do not see anyone "shitting" on him.

My concern is that as teams start to game plan for him and have more tape to study that his effectiveness will fall off. Hopefully it will not happen to the extent that he is no longer effective at all. My take on the Jags game though is that Cam just had an off day. The Jags did not seem to be doing anything special to disrupt him.

Agreed. So far, he's said and done most of what he's been asked. I'm thrilled he's a Panther.

And he is GOING to do it. He already has about 1,600 yards and 12 TDs and his 5th game isn't even over yet.

i'm not going to be mad if Cam's plays the rest of his career the way he's playing right now

Agreed. He's an entertaining guy who can make plays; kind of like a Delhomme with running ability. That said, I'm already preparing for Hurney to give him $150 million.

    LOL.

I'm actually more concerned about Rivera than Newton.

I'm pretty pleased with Rivera, although the halftime timeout was unconscionably stupid. Even if he thought they would be caught with too many men on the field, you still force them to get the snap off.

I agree with your assessment that Cam has horrible mechanics. The amazing thing though is that even with throwing off his back foot, be can make some big plays. The way he evaded the pressure and then did the jump pass to Smith was a thing of ugly beauty. And he makes those kind of throws every game. I'm not sure if you want to teach that kind of instinct out of him. I just hope he can at sometime do both, with mechanics and instinct.

exactly... it's not a penalty if the ball isn't snapped
