    Keep in mind that it's not a play where you absolutely have to throw it deep. If Cam felt it wasn't there, he could have come down to one of the shorter routes. Who knows, it might have worked if Cam didn't make an incredibly shitty throw, but Newton still had a good game overall. I actually thought Chud was outstanding with his play design and play-calling for most of the day, but I agree that I would have liked something safer in that situation. Still have no explanation whatsoever for the halftime timeout.

    Chico said he over thought the halftime TO.His fault. They switched units, he switched and didn't want to get caught with too many men on the field,and called the TO.

    I thought Cam made the right decision. It looked like Steve had his man beat to the inside. It was just a terrible throw.

    If I was going to pick all of the things that lost us this game, I don't think this play call would be one of them.

    you run the ball on that 3rd & 2... we had momentum running the ball at that point, and you want to keep the clock running...
