    Fox won't give him a chance, but I don't know that he should. Orton threw the ball well when they fell behind 21-3 and he got them back in the game. I'm happy with Newton but I kept thinking Orton would have been nice too. He's clearly the best quarterback Fox has ever had.

    don't think it will matter much anyway. that marriage is doomed. broncos fanbase will not be content with 7-9 records.

    I would not start Tebow either. I would not have drafted him in the first place. Orton is a solid starter and young enough to last several more years. Denver's problem is not a lack of production from the QB. They have a weak defense and running game. I imagine Fox will get that fixed eventually.

    Trading for Orton and drafting defense would not have been a horrible path for us. Since Newton looks like the next great franchise QB I am glad we did not do that but we could have done a lot worse.
