Never really understood the mentality of making fun of a player after they've given us all they could give us before they broke down.

That man can't hit the broad side of a barn now, but he could sure hit enough receivers to be the consensus Superbowl MVP had we won...

He could sure hit enough guys to get us through some playoff wins.

And that dude bled Panthers. I remember watching one of those QB challenge things on ESPN, and he was out there making everyone wear Panther hats, and he was all saying "Panther Pride!" and shit all the time. He gave us what he could. We had good years with him and he broke down. Not sure why some have to make him the devil.

It has comedic value. But I have no problem saying he is no doubt the best QB the Panthers have ever had, hell I'll go as far as to say he's one of the top 5 Panthers of all time. But when something is funny, I personally tend to laugh.

If only those Beuerlein teams had any semblance of a defense...

Beuerlein was a much better QB than Jake ever was, but Delhomme definitely gave the fans some great moments. My issues with Jake being here were the amounts of money Hurney gave him, and that there was never any attempt to bring in competition for the starting job.

And he's drawing interest from the fins.

Gonna keep Matt Moore on the bench, it seems.

Ironic that Fox tried so hard to avoid Qb controversy here, and lack of a Qb was probably the biggest reason he was shown the door. He's neck deep in it now.

Rooting for Jake to do well, in spite of what I believe will happen if he gets that gig.
