You picked the fight with me. Furthermore, no one forced you to make ignorant comments about Jenkins' history or the supposed rarity of ~300 pound DEs. And no one forced you to lie about the examples I provided coming from the 3-4. You made incorrect statements, and as usual, you made things worse by lying or otherwise inventing excuses instead of just acting like a man and taking responsibility for your mistakes.

Wrong. I have DVDs with games from those years. Jenkins was a backup DE who was used at DT on pass rushing downs, much like the Panthers did with Charles Johnson during his first two seasons. Jenkins actually weighed less then than he does now.

wasn't even the first person to name him as a DT, not DE. Sorry that I was the person you're least tolerant of, that corrected you. Since you weren't correct. Now we can argue some of these other semantics, but it won't make Charles Johnson worse.

While Cullen Jenkins was busy playing his new position of defensive tackle yesterday, defensive end Ray Edwards had a quiet zero sack, two tackle day for Atlanta...

Actually I acknowledged that I should have mentioned that he plays DT now for the Eagles. The problem started when you followed that acknowledgement by claiming this:

Which was obviously wrong. You didn't know Jenkins had played multiple seasons as a 4-3 end before Capers, which is fine if you would just act like a man and admit your mistake, but you can't. Then you compounded your error by posting:

Which again was unquestionably wrong. Over half the teams still running a 4-3 have a defensive end at least 285 pounds, and over a third have one over 300 pounds. So that isn't rare at all, but again you make excuses and try to change the subject instead of just admitting that you made a mistake. But after I listed those players who proved you wrong, you decided to lie and say this:

As noted, every single player I mentioned was a starting 4-3 DE either this season or last season. I didn't mention one player who was just a 3-4 DE, much less "most," but you felt compelled to lie because you can't just admit when you're wrong. Now in the future I would suggest that you suppress the urge to pick fights with me like you did here, because it usually ends with you being embarrassed for a lack of knowledge, and then you lying to cover your ignorant ass.

Funny thing, I don't really get the feeling that Magnus feels embarrassed.

Probably not. If he did, he would have learned by now to admit mistakes instead of lying. Doesn't change the fact that what he does is embarrassing, though. It looks bad when a guy with that much knowledge doesn't know that Cullen Jenkins played 4-3 DE, that the DEs I mentioned are also 4-3 DEs, and that ~300 pound defensive ends aren't rare. Seeing him lie to cover his ass is even worse.

Then why do continuously say that you've embarrassed him when clearly he's not embarrassed? Are you lying?

I can't figure out if you know the answer to this and are pretending not to, or if you're actually that incredibly stupid. His embarrassment is not dependent upon his acknowledgement, just like him being wrong isn't dependent on him admitting it. Him being ignorant of basic football information and then lying about it is an embarrassment, regardless of whether or not he feels it.
