Any thoughts on why his numbers dipped so much this week? I know the rain slowed everyone down but he was off before it got really bad. Do you think the Jags were able to scheme to take away the easy stuff he was getting against the Cards and Packers or is it just Cam being inconsistent. Seemed like he just missed on some open receivers a few times to me.

BTW, I am not down on him. He lead a come from behind touchdown drive for the win and that is probably more important for him than throwing for 400 plus yards.

gonna be more of that, regardless of his ultimate pan-out.

    1. Two weeks of film. He had been burning blitzes and JDR decided to drop seven into coverage and see if he could find the open spaces. I wanted to see us running more underneath stuff (like the short drag route to 89 on the last drive).
    2. Cam. The conditions certainly didn't help, but he was all over the place even before the monsoon hit. He missed on a couple of big plays in the first quarter that could have really gotten us going.

Receivers were open all over the place.

If Cam hits a few of those plays, our numbers are pretty explosive, and the score higher, TD or FG.

I'm thinking yesterday was probably a little bit closer to True Cam than the Cardinals game. I'm just glad he finally made a play in the redzone.

Agreed. He came through when it mattered most.
