I'm glad to see the coaching staff have some balls (except on possible FG attempts) both offensively and defensively...something very different during Fox's tenure.

I understood the decision on wet ground, but it is bizarre that Mare isn't attempting 50 yard field goals given how much the team paid him.

So was he ruled not down on the original play? If not then they couldn`t have had an angle that showed he was down. Was it more or less the replay officals were guessing?

I think they first ruled he wasn't down, then ruled he was after the replay. Personally I didn't see it. Looked to me like only his hand touched the ground. *shrug*

They didn't show an inconclusive shot on TV. Maybe the official saw more angles than us.

Yeah I didn't see his elbow hit, and I'm surprised they overturned it on those angles, though...like you said, maybe they saw something different.

Awful PI call at the end, too, against Munnerlyn.

Hell yes. Overall, with the exception of a few breakdowns, the tackles are getting better, too.

Working on the radio and watching that 4th qtr at the same time is a little hellish. Very happy about:

    • Pass rush
    • Stewart
    • Olsen
    • NO TURNOVERS in wicked weather.
It would be cool to scoop up one of five Jacksonville fumbles, but whatever. Let's roll.
