The problem with Kansas and KSU is that they are located in the middle of nowhere.

I just think if the four schools listed above go to the PAC and Kansas and KSU come calling...you can't tell them you're not interested.

Texas will want the Long Horn Network. Not so sure the rest of the ACC would go for that.

Anyway, Pitt and Syracuse will make good basketball additions. As far as football, they'll fit right in with the ACC as well given performance on the field.

There is also WVU. Football/basketball wise is a good pick up but academically they are a failure at academics.

Louisville name has been thrown out which ain't great but still could be worse.

Easy on the academics. The ACC is good but let's not go all Ivy League.

Compared to the other conferences the ACC is one of the best. Of course no conference will beat the Ivy League when it comes to academics.

Heh. Easy on the football. The ACC is not the SEC, but let's not go all Ivy League.

Because they're happy in the Big Ten, genius. It's absurd to just start naming universities like this is a fantasy draft where you can pick anyone.

Way too far away to be worth it. Basketball usually only brings in a few million per school, so if it's not a football powerhouse like Texas then any additions need to be fairly close geographically. And what TV market does Rutgers have? The Jersey Shore?

They will. Adding Texas would be more than worth any headache from the LHN. Unfortunately the Pac group backed down from demanding that the LHN be folded into their conference network, so that's why Texas is now considering them.

Isn't the LHN what is basically helping to cause all this realignment? The recruiting advantage is basically what pissed off Texas A&M and started the dominos, right?
