Hate on Cam all you want(people), he did way more good than bad. It's his second fucking game, shitty team last year,no regular off season, new regime. Franchise superstar quarterback in the making. This guy is probably playing better after two games than some would expected by the end of the year. He is reading the D as well as can be expected. He is putting the ball in the right(called)spots and accuracy will come. He passed the franchise record today, so now he holds #1 and #3. People who constantly keep picking him apart don't want to be wrong about saying he's not an NFL QB. Andrew luck, you sir did the right thing by staying in school!! Get your education. And Jimmy Claussen , you should have sold the #2 to Cam for whatever he was gonna offer. You may never see the field again.

You say this stuff because you have no idea what you're looking at when you watch a football game. Chudzinski has greatly simplified the offense and is doing pretty much everything possible to make things easy on Cam. He's actually hurting the running game by doing so. And footwork matters, since that has a big effect on accuracy. As for reading the Packers' defense, Cam really struggled in that area, but it's to be expected for any rookie QB, especially one with so little college playing experience.

Again, you don't know what you're talking about. Chud went away from the TEs precisely because Green Bay was trying to take them away and left better matchups with the WRs or dumping off to the RBs. The red zone play-calling was also spot on. Naanee was open twice, Newton just missed him. Cam also made two big mistakes by running out of bounds with the ball and taking losses instead of throwing it away. Since that rule is no different from college, I have no idea what he was thinking.

    great interview... I'm hopeful

agreed on stepping out of bounds on that series... and missing a wide open wr... he's got to dump the ball and take the incomplete and hit that guy when it's there

I think those things can be corrected... but we can't expect Cam to throw 400/game ... he needs run support

Panthers might have the biggest upgrade at OC in NFL history.

Yeah, we're on the same page here. Cam is exciting and makes plays, but the more you ask of him, the more likely it is that he'll make a mistake.

like it or not he is far better than the other two and he is seriously the best thing to happen to this team to date.

Interesting game. I will say I was pleasantly surprised by the defense. 30 points is one thing, but I thought they played well overall. They gave up a few big plays the Jennings and Nelson TD's along with the Starks run.
    Impressed by Gamble overall.
Thomas Davis is fast and hopefully isn't injured too badly.
Our safeties continue to confuse me, whiffing on tackles and taking poor angles. They have to be better than that right?

Offense I'm concerned with the ground game like most. I think today was a combination of the interior o-line not getting any push and basically getting owned by raji and co, along with the scheme. Chud isn't calling the plays to establish an effective run game in my opinion. Running from the shotgun the majority of the time is not going to get it done. The draw is a nice play to slow down the pass rush but not on 1st and 10.

I understand they want to make Newton as comfortable as possible but they have got to start running more plays from under center and getting more than 2 ypc.

Also have like what I've seen from Lafell. Nanee just doesn't seem to be as aware. I understand he has more speed and can get deep but Lafell has been more consistent thus far imo.

Can`t you say the same generality about 90% of the qbs in the league?
I never saw the holding Gross was accused of that forced them off the goal line.

No, not really. The point is that Cam is inexperienced and has no ability to read defenses, so Chud needs to pick spots better and not just pass every down.
