    Per Steve Reed...It doesn't sound like the Panthers are going to sign CB Joselio Hanson, a league source has said.

    Wonder if we're not signing him because we're not interested or because some other team will pay him more money.

    Old & kind of smallish. The idea seems to be filling the roster with guys who have a chance to develop into something a couple of years down the road.

    I just don't understand our claims. I'm not excited about any of them. I know you aren't likely to find starting studs on the waiver wire, but I don't see a lot of upside on the ones we got.

    We traded S Kevin Payne, DE Everette Brown, WR David Clowney, DE Thomas Keiser and OL Bryant Browning for S Stevie Brown, DE George Selvie, WR Ajirotutu, DT Marcus Harrison, CB Josh Thomas.
    I would say we improved our bottom half of the roster. Right?

    Hanson's not so great that he was a must-have. Just a guy that made sense.
