    my understanding is its a 1 yr 8 mil deal we can get out of after the yr if he gets hurt.

    If the team cuts him after the season then it will count $5.6 million against the 2012 cap and $8 million total. But TD was already under contract, so if they did nothing he would have only cost $3.8 million this season.


    I doubt that's correct given where they were before the Kalil restructuring, and if it is, that means more of Kalil's money was pushed off into future seasons, further fucking the cap in those years.


    Actually it does mean you're wrong, since you were already proven so. Shoot, maybe you'll change your mind just like you went from saying that Cam was another JaMarcus Russell to now thinking he might make the Panthers a Super Bowl contender.

    I have never said I was sold on Cam. I have warmed up to him a little. I think we have a pretty solid core in place and if we find a good QB, Cam or someone else, we can go far.
