I admire that, but some things don't change. Accept it, hope for the best, and get your fuck on.

The Cardinals didn't make the playoffs but made Larry Fitzgerald the highest paid WR in the league. I guess they're doomed as well

During NFL networks rebroadcast of the game Bob Griese said he never heard of Ryan Kalil when he was told Panthers had just made him the highest paid center. :winkiss:

What's up with the Texas jersey she's wearing? USC cheerleaders are always EPICALLY hot.

Maybe she's not the smartest (evidence by that famous 1st pic where Texas scores the TD and she cheers!) but she sure is a hottie.

Come on, man, at least try to be honest. Nobody came even close to what the Panthers gave out. Not even close. Carolina gave out orders of magnitude more money than all other teams, and almost all of that money went to players already on the roster.

When you have the second most cap room of any team, then your only free agent additions were Olindo Mare and Ron Edwards, you obviously didn't try very hard.

Kudos, I guess, for making my point while arguing against me and insisting that I'm wrong. The franchise is run by an idiot who never intended to sign outside talent, he just wanted to lock up a 2-14 roster over the long-term.

When Thelt says this is a potential championship team if Cam Newton pans out at QB, and rake says that Olsen+Shockey might be the most talented TE pairing in NFL history, I'm not exactly going out on a limb by calling that idiotic. And you being a huge homer for the Panthers isn't controversial either. It's something people have been saying about you for over a decade. That reputation dogs you back through the Lair to the old CharlotteObserver board precisely because it's a pattern of behavior for you. You defend the team and try to spin the dumb things they do into something positive. You believe that's your responsibility as a fan, while I believe that a fan should be honest and call for his team to do things better.

You tell me what I think, but don't let hypocrisy stop you. And the notion that no one can understand another person is absurd.

Wow, that's your biggest lie of all. Did you or did you not refuse to admit you were wrong about Shawne Merriman being a DE-only for six fucking years? Come on, man. And that's a pattern of behavior for you. When you said back in 2009 that the team only ran "a handful of sweeps," and I asked you for pages how much you meant by "a handful," you would never answer. You never admit to being wrong, so how can you pretend that you only care about football items or that you're not trying to outlast someone else. And you also post about me more than anyone else on this board. You're just not honest about yourself either. If you want to post about football, then just post about football. You post about me because that's what you want to do. Be honest for once.

Are you seriously comparing DeAngelo Williams, Charles Johnson, or Ryan Kalil to Larry Fitzgerald? Christ Almighty.

At least try clicking on the links so you stop embarrassing yourself and irritating the shit out of me by wasting my time. The message board post came from someone listening to Sirius NFL radio when they talked to Charles Johnson, and I obviously can't link to that conversation directly or I would do so. According to what he said on the radio, CJ "was shocked at the amount of money the Panthers threw at him," and "also said Atlanta's offer wasn't close."

Meanwhile, the Broncos article stated that they were looking for a running back who would make about half of what DW was getting offered. There were also other articles about Denver that said the day before Williams signed that they were no longer pursuing him because the money was far out of their price range. Neither Atlanta or Denver had a lot of cap room coming into the free agency period, so it's not like Carolina had to outbid them. Hurney bid against himself.

What part of this do you not understand? That money is tied up in players the Panthers already had when they went 2-14. Carolina will not have much money in 2012 or 2013 to add outside talent, which is what the franchise desperately needs to do.

How many times have we argued and I've been right? Does anyone ever acknowledge that I was correct all along? Does anyone ever just fucking listen to me the next time because history has proven me right on so many other things? How much shit did I take over Delhomme only for you fuckers to end up with egg on your face?
