The formations and stuff will probably be the most interesting part. I'd like to see a lot of motion on offense, then some deception on defense, but I understand that the first game will be pretty vanilla. As for players, the only thing I'm really hoping for is to look good on the offensive and defensive lines.

I'm sure there'll be plenty said.

Will be interesting. Want to see the running game looking good, and QB accuracy will be ...interesting. Want to see one guy look efficient.

Defense won't look the least bit like what we'll run but we should bring heat anyway, obviously CB will be a stress but I'm more interested seeing the starters.

People will probably be dying for a DT after tonight but should be OK. That's on the assumption that the Giants OL is what it was, which I'm less certain of.

I'll be watching, and despite the hell both the owners/players/pick your side put the fans through this offseason, it ended up giving me a greater appreciation for the preseason.

I would--and I'm not Rivera (confirmation)--give the QB I felt most inclined to start as much playing time as possible, given the lack of OTA's. I don't think he has a "favorite" at this point. He might start leaning a certain direction next week.

Be interested to see 34/28 and how they are used in this offense. Both should be active tonight, and between them and what's behind them, Carolina's probably deeper than anyone at the position.

Also interested in special teams play. Took some steps back since O'Brien flamed out in 2004. The Crossman experiment was marginal, at best, and settling for Jeff Rodgers was curious. I'm willing to bet Goodson fields most KO's, and will probably show some flash, as always. PR? Munnerlyn, if he's healthy, or Edwards.

Clowney has an opening with Gettis going down, and he (to me) has shown the most value (O/ST) of any of the "bubble" WR (Pilares, Martin, Wright). I would like to see Pilares make the team, but I don't view him as "penciled-in" by Rivera, given his reps in camp and his place in the rotation. Naanee should get a good amount of looks.

TE's will be neat to watch. Lot of movement in camp pre-snap, particularly Olsen. I have seen him in 4 different positions on or behind the line during practice.

Other than that, keep them healthy, drink cold beer and play some football.
