OK, I'll drop the Polians. Tell us about Howie Roseman.

anywhere I lay my head I'm gonna call my home
    Wanted answers on things
you said I said, when you started straying far enough away from the
actual point of the conversation. Since you'd say I was a liar if I'd
    done what you did.

Yes, I remember you getting bent out of shape about me saying "a
handful." I see you've drug that baggage a long way, just like so much
other stuff. Since you need closure on that, I'm sorry you had an issue
with my opinion of what I meant by "handful", but thanks for the
    entertainment.

    Seems like
it's more like, you don't like my opinion and start calling my opinion a
lie and yours as a fact. I mean, sure, you were jumping to answer the
comeback route thing now, because you're pretending to be some sort of
mental boy scout, and therefore better than me, and therefore your
opinion should matter and others shouldn't. See also: earlier in your
own post about the Polians. But you otherwise just got bunched up and
got pissed and kinda left, or distracted things, up until now (I could
be wrong, you could've owned up to it, but you still acted like it was
    radioactive).

No, you think you beat me in arguments because you say that you do. You
conveniently judge things definitively, and just happen to judge in your
favor. Who knew? Nothing's more 'intellectually honest" than "I'm
right, you're wrong, because I, the person attacking you, says so."

    I'll back off "he's not
involved", because that's not what the argument's about. It didn't keep
you from misrepresenting my opinion in a number of posts before you
wussed out and started posting nothing but punctuation, and still didn't
own up to, which is what you would do since you just got bunched up
    about "he's not involved."

And again, you can show me proof of that if you want to attribute it to
me. Capers definitely screwed plenty up, don't get me wrong, and I'll
    include Capers in that.
And this is in line with what I'm saying happened this year. The idea
that a guy who jumped deeply into the labor contract for the league had
no input on offers we had time to craft before FA 'started',
unequivocably and without any legitimate proof, seems unlikely. It's
possible, but unlikely. If you can't face any other words in this post,
do this. Richardson has stated numerous times "his plan" and it seems
quite unlikely that he had no opinion on the payment of, for instance,
Charles Johnson given that a fair portion of JR's own payroll was down
    there making him stay.
So, even in the event that he's unlikely involved - or that the biggest
contracts seem to be guys JR has ties with - you'd have to agree that JR
seems to disagree with you significantly on evaluating the person who
    handed them out.

See, this is the stuff people let you get
away with. I made a mistake and owned it, but you can't let it go and
then proceed to tell me what I was really thinking. Again, no proof, so
that's not 'intellectually honest'. Which is fine, because I know you
aren't. It's something you say. I'll take that back if you can prove
    your statements.

I won't bother asking for a source on me saying that Jerry Richardson
decides, by himself, what 53 players stay in a year. I know I didn't
say it. Strawman. This is the type thing you would call a lie, and you
want to be held to your own standards, right?

one, I'll ask you again where I said he wasn't GM (I didn't, and you'd
be furious if I even insinuated your words incorrectly, and then
probably just furious anyway). Two, I've said I don't care about blame.
    You definitely do.
Oakland, Cincinnati, Dallas don't enter into what happens in Carolina.
If there came out a report that Al Davis hasn't run things in Oakland in
five years because of declining health, but they kept names and
occupations quiet to honor him, would it change what happens at Mint St?
    No? How bizarre.

    Okay, I will, but
only because this is the level of leniency you always show others after
you've worked hard to make uncomfortable, and taking your anger out on
them, probably including telling them they're worthless and why you're
better than them, that your opinion is correct and theirs never
should've been said. I know how easily you say, "oh, sorry to bother,
let me apologize and leave you alone now."

And then not attempt to use it in every last argument you had with that
person for the next fifteen thousand years.

Andy Reid hasn't had full control of personnel decisions since 2009. Why do you think McNabb got dumped? Reid still has a lot of input, but he doesn't have the final say anymore.

Listen to the audio from the Mike & Mike link. That makes it pretty clear Reid was very involved in the McNabb trade, but even before that, he had authority in final personnel mover over Heckert. Another example of where soemone other than the GM dealt with contract matters was Parcells in Miami. JR owns the team. If he wants to be involved in any or all contract decisions, and there is plenty to indicate that he does, NOBODY can stop him.

If an owner wants to, no one can or should stop them. But there's absolutely nothing ever in the history of the Panthers to indicate that Richardson was intimately involved in putting together the roster or negotiating contracts. He will occasionally push for certain players, but he's not in the room hammering out numbers. If JR wanted to start doing that, it would be his right as an owner, although I prefer when owners let their football people handle football matters. Well, assuming they're more competent than Hurney.

So the idea that an owner, who was a chief component of the entire labor contract, with 26 free agents, didn't have a plan (that he has cited numerous times) as to what he wanted to do? Half of Richardson's non-player payroll flew to Miami to court a player and they never talked about the money range?

That really seems that far fetched?

Richardson's talked about the plan. Where's contrary evidence?
