On the field last night, let me explain why so many writers were tweeting about how incredible he looked:

    1. He didn't muff any punts...in fact, he didn't field any that I saw
    2. They fed him the ball on about every other play (end arounds, shallow crosses, 0's)
He made a great catch on a 7 route. He looks just like he did this time last year. Not hatin', just being real here.

And, I was guilty of doing the "OMG...he's finally getting it done" thing. On the drive home, I reflected, and told myself, "OMG...I said the same thing 12 months ago!"

At App, Armanti excelled in space. That's where his superior quicks and field vision made him a AA icon.

If he can translate his skills in space to his new position, then the Panthers will have a weapon.

I'll be very interested to see how Edwards negotiates open space in a defense, or if he can regain the mojo that served him so well in Boone.

Ill wait till he gets clocked in pads. We always have stellar performances in training camp from rookies that disappear when gametime starts if they even make it that far.

At the moment i figured he was a lost cause so yeah, great for him, im all for everyone improving.

Anybody who stuck by Edwards 100% should hold off on boasting too hard just yet. He's a champion in shorts.

then again that's a lot better than he was last year. Who knows, he might not get stashed on inactive most of the year now.

Just being realisitic, more so than 95% of those reporting things.

You actually believe the local media has a clue what they are talking about? That is where most if not all of the positive reporting is coming from.

That being said, I'm optimistic too on Armanti, but it is mainly because he actually has some time under his belt working on WR instead of QB.
