    I was walking with Charlie Dayton to the parking lot after practice, and here comes Peter King, pissing and moaning about Cam. Told Charlie that he came down here to get an exclusive and now he was being blown off. After which, King introduced himself to me. I humbly told him my role in this circus, and for the next 15 minutes, we walked around the Richardson building, talking about writing, football, and our kids. Nice guy, but not going to be investing in a Newton1 jersey anytime soon.

    I'm sure that'll be in MMQB.

    Certainly isn't the type of issue I worried about with him, don't think it worries me that hard but guy should be available for national media.

    I met Len Pasquarelli a few years back at training camp. Not sure why he's no longer with ESPN since he seemed to be the best they had at covering the NFL.

    King's the one that reported the "icon and entertainer" comment. Can't blame Newt for blowing him off for all the shit he's taken over that.

    I believe he had health problems and when he came back ESPN had loaded up with Schefter so he decided to move on.
