    Thought Anderson would be much better, Jenkins has made good money despite being a poor receiver.

    Jets cut Mark Brunell.

    Old, but savvy. Could do the mentor thing and, maybe, stand in a series or two if needed.

    Don't know if the Panthers want to go this direction, having a vet serve as the #3, but it does serve the youth. If Hurney wants a half-season starter, Brunell ain't it.
