    I wish JR was a business client of mine. He truly must be one of the most naive muthafuckas in the history of sports ownership. He apparently buys whatever hurney feels like selling. I guess he also believes any bravado and gung ho crap from his coaches too. I get the impression he only hires cocky coaches who think they can win with whatever players that get assembled

    Let's not pretend that DW is "just a guy". He's a top 5 back in this league at this time. I have reservations whether he will still be that in 5 years, but it's a well-deserved contract for an elite RB. We can debate whether we needed an elite RB, but he earned the cash in my opinion.

    was responding to the point of not upgrading a 2-14 team

    so far, with the possible exception of Shockey Williams' surrounding cast has not been upgraded and that money could have been better spent on one of the many areas of weakness
