They sure do, and despite that fact, local coverage shows a stadium half empty at best. It's a symptom, or are you so fucking stupid that you think everything else Panther related is comp'ed if the tickets are sold?

I'm saying that the team mostly cares about what money they're making, not if the stadium is full. Hell, for years they've had ushers caution or kick out people who get too loud and annoy the high dollar crowd. Exciting the fan base is pretty irrelevant if you're not worried about selling tickets.

Perhaps Newton is a hard worker, it's too early to say either way at this point. Both his college coaches said he worked hard, stayed after practice with guys for additional work, etc... If he becomes great and wins alot of games he will become an icon. I just hope he doesn't get all wrapped up in the buying of mansions and Bentelys after he gets paid and forgets about working hard.

JR is worried that people with tickets aren't there buying over priced beer and merchandise

I understand that part of his contract is he must room with the Kasay's until he gets the ok from John to "be on his own".

Rich Eisen brought up a good point when he said that Cam got booed when he was selected 1st. Reminiscent of Donovan McNabb

i think jr got what he wanted. he'd of taken luck, sure. but cam has the potential to bring charlotte to its knees in worship. some say he doesn't, some are sore about the pick. but a lot think he can. i bet we take this 358# guard to keep d-lo happy, or maybe the 308#er.
