I have no doubt that Newton will be the pick, mostly because I have absolute faith that Hurney is a retard.

I believe it's going to be Newton or Green.

Part of me, just my gut...tells me Coach said let me and Carrot Top fix the D. Just get the goddamn O some talent, and fucking get that thing going so my defense has a chance.

If we're going to trade malcontent Smith? Gettis and LaFell simply doesn't cut it. Neither can consistently stretch the field. Green can.

Omg, I really hope we say fuck it and draft Green. I do not think he will be a Rogers. He just doesn't come with the same make up as Rogers did. Green, by all rights, is a good kid. Rogers wasn't.

Uh ... yes, Rogers was. He wasn't a malcontent, he was just weak.

No dude. He was a junkie. He was a lazy junkie. That is not a good kid. Green is nowhere near what Rogers was, bro. Well---I guess I can't say that. Maybe Green is a dope fiend, but I see nothing pointing in that direction. Rogers was no different than a Rashard Anderson. A dopey who couldn't prioritize the pro game over recreational drugs.

Eh, I disagree. If I was Millen I would have made that Rogers pick too. Y'all forget how sick and dominating he was in college, just as unstoppable as Calvin Johnson. He was a shithead in the pros, and that surprised me. He had all the talent. Just goes to show you really have no idea.

Back to topic, Hurney must answer 2 questions:
    1. Is Newtons character an issue? I think almost certainly not.
    2. Can he grasp and execute the pro scheme? I honestly have no idea. I remember when I was graduating from nuclear reactor training in the Navy, I had to spend 3 hours at a chalk board in front of a bunch of Phd's answering questions and drawing diagrams, then I had to complete a 100 page test, each page had a single question printed at the top and you filled the rest in with your equations and supporting documentation, all off the top of your head. I had years of the best training in the world to be able to pass that. My question is, if Cam had the football equivalent of the same test, could he pass? I don't think so, because he lacks the years of training.

Does Hurney know enough to say that Cam could pass that test a year from now? Can they find some simplified offense to score points until he can?

If he can answer these questions with confidence, Cam is the pick with no reservations. If not, pick something more surefire, Dareus seems to be that.
