Well...I can always admit when I'm wrong, and I've finally gotten to see a lot more of him. I'm really starting to dig on this guy hard.

    I'm conflicted...

This is why I think Peterson could help us for longer...he'll play corner in the NFL, no doubt about it. And when he slows down, he can be an outstanding safety for a few years as well.

Cool. I've got no problem with you digging Newton, but the Dareus bashing was bizarre.

The thing is, I'm not convinced that Peterson would be a great or even very good corner in the NFL. I would like him better out in space where he doesn't have to mirror a receiver and can just react to what happens on the play, but I don't like that enough to spend a top five pick on it.

I'm slowly falling off the Cam bandwagon. I'd still buy the jersey if we draft him, but too many smart people have too many doubts about him.

I think I'd go with AJ Green if I were Hurney. Dareus is a nice player, so is Peterson, but Jesus we need offense SO bad. And AJ Green seems can't miss (barring injury as always).

In my opinion, Green is as much of a bust possibility as Newton. Unlike with Cam, I'm definitely in the minority on that, though.

Julio Jones could turn out the better of the two though. Somebody will get lucky with him later in the round.

Peterson just returned his 4th punt for TD. Only 33 guys had returned 3 or more TDs in their career. You don't draft a guy just to do that in the top 5, but it doesn't fucking hurt.

As predicted, though, he's a pretty shitty NFL corner.

almost to the level where you could see a team moving him to offense.
