Divisional Inequality

    Stupid Baseball.
    Can someone explain to me why there are 6 teams in the NLCentral, and only 4 teams in the ALWest ? (and it has been this way for years).
    So ALW teams have a 25 % chance of winning their division, while NLC teams only have a 16 % chance ?
    That also leaves 14 AL teams, compared to 16 NL teams. (Which again is unfair mathematically to all NL teams).
    Seriously, why isn't this ever addressed ?

    AL West has only four teams after a California team slid off into the ocean
