    Look, you dumbasz, first of all, you can't even begin to count the people sitting under the upper decks, or those buying concessions, at the bathrooms, or just wandering around out of their seats. :lolly:

    Alums are pissed and didn't show for the spring game. Why is this a surprise to anyone?

    Of course it's no big whoop to me. What is sort of amusing is that it was reported 15,500 in attendance, and the lunatic fringe from the NC State side taking that number and dragging it out to be made fun of, and the lunatic fringe on the UNC side taking such offense and being so defensive about it. What a bunch of maroons, all of'em.........

    It's not. If I were an alumnus I'd be pissed as well. Of course, if the team wins this season all will probalby be forgiven.

    Why would anyone be pissed? So far the things that have come out are mostly totally out of university control. Obviously the Blake thing looks bad, but if you really examine it, I don't think that the university should be expected to know that he was abusing his personal relationship with a close friend who was also an agent. And remember that most of the money was not coming through Blake (I can't remember if any of it did, actually).

    All of this obviously changes if there is any academic fraud or things that the university should have really been expected to know and I am on record as to what I think should happen there.

    Obviously Vito thinks alums are pissed so it's pretty realistic to think others think the same as well. You think weather is the only reason more folks didn't turn out? Now, if all Spring Games were sparsley attended this is all a mute point. Don't follow close enough to know if prevous Chapel Hill Spring Games were heavily attended or not. Nevertheless, the school's rep, at least regarding football, has been tarnished. You know what they say, perception is reality.

    When the spring game was on TV (last year) everybody and his cousin showed up. When it wasn't shown, everybody stayed home. :thinking: Go figure.
