    Yes, I look at the daily Averages in the paper. But I used to check my portfolio EVERYday. I panicked on numerous occasions and almost drove my money manager nuts with my hysterics. :biggrin:

    Japan is used to quakes. But they didn't see the tsunami coming. All countries wouldn't know if and when a tsunami would come hitting them.
    Thoughts and prayers are with these people and everybody that lost their lives and families they have left behind. :(

    I thought I had heard the majority of Japans debt is to Japenese creditors rather than US or China?

    Technically speaking, Japan is the most advanced nation on the face of the earth. They have state of the art alarming system,m but they didn't expect this devastating tsunami.So technology has failed before GOD.

    Japan is fixing to abandon that part of their island. Businesses are being told to relocate to the other side. At Chernobyl that part of the country is shut down for 200 to a thousand years.
