    I LOVE Thai food but to me Pad Thai is boring. Love Love LOVE all the curry's especially the green and red. Thai House in Charlotte is great especially #26? The eggplant, basil, chicken with the dry spice.. If you ever wanted to go vegetarian Thai is a good way to go. Tofu works GREAT in Thai

    Thai food is really A+. It's a delicious cuisine that combines a complex myriad of tastes in a single dish, they balance sweet, spicy, sour, salty. It's not similar to Chinese food at all, but more like Indonesian, Singaporean or Indian dishes.

    What's a good simple 1st Thai dish to try. I'm not brave when it comes to stuff like this. I've done Chinese and Japanese, but Thai is still new and I'm not sure what to start with.

    whatever you do, use chopsticks...i think it's some kind of law or something. i've seen people that use a fork for everything else use chopsticks whenever they have asian food. a fork must poison some foods.

    I think it's the metal. They say to not use metal (knife) when preparing lettuce, maybe for the same reason?

    Pad Thai. Noodles with your choice of meat with crumbled peanuts and spices. Not super spicy at all but a good start. Then move on to curries, steamed spring rolls are good as well
