    Legendary College Basketball Commentator Dick Vitale may have some explaining to do after his latest controversial comments.

    While on ESPN's "Mike & Mike in the Morning," Vitale and the crew started talking about the possibilities regarding the trade of NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony.

    When the hosts mentioned that he may try and repeat the same process Lebron James has done by going to a team who already have 2 allstars, Vitale responded with.

    "Moves like that are like Inmates controlling the asylum."

    Comparing NBA Commissioner David Stern to a Warden, some people believe that Dick obviously feels that these young Black men should not have control over their own destination.

    Alabama head coach Nick Saban has also been questioned about a statement he made about young college players receiving benefits from their school,

    "I don't think it's anything but greed that's creating it right now on behalf of the agents, the agents that do this – and I hate to say this, but how are they any better than a pimp?

    The statement was a controversial one because all of the players involved in the story he spoke on were black.

    So do you feel that Dick's comments were intended to be racist, or do you feel that his words were just misconceived?

    He should have just said "the NBA fucking sucks and has for over a decade." I do love hiphopwired.com, though.

    Inmates running the asylum is a common expression and has nothing to do with race.

    Now if he had said, "Inmates running the prison" there might be an issue.

    We do not even have asylums any more. Like Karl Childers said, they are Nervous Hospitals. When we did have asylums they were run by the Joker and Penguin....
